Terms of Sale
Please ensure you read these terms carefully, as they outline legally binding obligations. We recommend printing and saving a copy of these terms and conditions for your records.
1. Contract
These terms govern the sale of all products ("Products") trading as Lashribons ("we," "us," "our"), whether purchased through our website . If you are buying as a consumer (i.e., for personal use and not for resale or business purposes), your statutory rights remain unaffected.
1.1 Placing an order with us constitutes an offer from you to purchase the selected Products. While your order creates a payment obligation for you, it does not guarantee our acceptance of your order. Once we receive your order, you will receive one or more emails confirming the receipt of your order and detailing its contents (including associated charges). These communications are acknowledgments only and do not signify acceptance of your order.
1.2 A legally binding agreement between us ("Contract") is established only if and when we either (i) formally accept your order in writing or (ii) dispatch the ordered Products to you ("Acceptance"). Each Contract pertains solely to the Products explicitly Accepted. We are under no obligation to supply any Products until such Acceptance, and all orders are subject to our discretion.
2. Your Status
By placing an order, you confirm that you are legally authorized to enter into binding contracts and that doing so does not violate any applicable laws or third-party obligations. If you are an individual, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and will adhere to all instructions and requirements provided by us or, where applicable, the Product manufacturer. For any adhesives or Products containing adhesive, you agree to perform a patch test 24 hours before use and accept responsibility for doing so.
3. Our Status
We are a UK-registered limited company, with our registered office located at 15 Top Road, Lower Cumberworth, Huddersfield, HD8 8PE.
4. Product Description and Pricing
4.1 We strive to provide accurate descriptions for all Products. However, minor discrepancies may occur.
4.2 Prices are subject to change, but any adjustments will not affect orders that have already been Accepted.
4.3 Despite our best efforts, some Products may occasionally be priced incorrectly. As part of our dispatch process, we verify prices. If the correct price is lower than the displayed price, we will charge the lower amount upon dispatch. If the correct price is higher, we may, at our discretion, either contact you for confirmation before proceeding or cancel the order and notify you of the cancellation.
4.4 We are not obligated to provide a Product at an incorrect (lower) price if the pricing error is obvious and could reasonably be recognized as such.
4.5 Product images are for illustrative purposes only. Variations, such as in color or length, may occur.
5. Payment
5.1 Payments for all items must be made via PayPal. Delivery may be withheld, or the order canceled, if full payment is not received in cleared funds. Although we will not process your payment until your order is dispatched, note that our payment provider will allocate the necessary funds at the time the order is placed. This allocation may affect your available credit balance despite the funds not being deducted.
6. Availability and Delivery
6.1 Orders will be fulfilled promptly, within any agreed delivery timeframe, or within 30 days from our confirmation of your order if no date is specified. The delivery address provided during the order process will be used.
6.2 While we strive to dispatch goods within 48 hours of receiving payment, delivery dates cannot be guaranteed due to circumstances beyond our control. Additional costs may apply for timed delivery services.
6.3 If delivery is refused or cannot be completed due to cancellation under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation, and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 ("Regulations"), any payments made will be refunded as outlined in clause 10.
6.4 Upon receiving your order, you may be required to sign for the package. If the package is damaged, please refuse the delivery. If you cannot inspect the contents immediately, sign for the parcel as "unchecked."
6.5 Deliveries to remote areas may incur additional charges. In such cases, we will contact you directly.
7. Adhesives
7.1 Adhesives carry risks of personal injury if not used correctly. A patch test must be performed 24 hours before use. Do not proceed if an adverse reaction occurs, and seek medical advice if necessary. By purchasing adhesives, you accept these terms, particularly those in Section 7.
8. Consumer Rights
8.1 If you are a consumer, you have cancellation rights as outlined in this section.
8.2 Under the Regulations, you can cancel your contract within 14 days without providing a reason. This period begins:

(a) From the day you or a nominated person receives the products.

(b) For multiple items delivered on different days, from the date the last item is received.

(c) For recurring deliveries, from the date of the first delivery.
8.3 If you cancel within the specified timeframe, we will refund your payment as detailed in clause 10, provided all terms are met.
9. Risk and Title
The risk of the products transfers to you once received. Ownership is retained until full payment, including delivery charges, is completed.
10. Returns and Refunds
10.1 If you cancel under the Regulations but have received the items, you must:

(a) Return them within 14 days of notifying us.

(b) Cover return shipping costs unless the items are faulty.

(c) Ensure the items are in their original condition to avoid deductions for diminished value.
10.2 Refunds, including delivery charges, will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned items or proof of return.
10.3 For defective products, we will confirm refunds or replacements via email within 30 days. Delivery costs and reasonable return postage will also be reimbursed.
10.4 Returns must follow our specified process, including obtaining authorization.
10.5 Refunds will be issued using the original payment method unless agreed otherwise.
10.6 Refund processing times may vary due to factors beyond our control.
Products must be returned in a resalable condition. Return requests must be made within 14 days of receipt. Proof of postage is recommended as we are not responsible for lost parcels. Certain used tools/accessories are non-returnable for hygiene reasons.
11. Our Liability
11.1 We are legally obligated to supply goods that comply with the contract.
11.2 Our financial liability is limited to the total contract price, excluding specific indirect losses or misuse of the products.
11.3 Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury due to negligence, or fraud.
12. Data Protection & Security
12.1 Your personal data is handled in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and our Privacy Policy.
12.2 To protect against fraud, we may verify your details against third-party databases. By ordering, you consent to such checks.
13. Written Communications
By using our site, you agree to electronic communication methods, such as email.
14. Notices
Notices must be sent to Lashribons at the provided address or email. Delivery is considered complete when posted on our website, emailed, or after three days for mailed letters.
15. Transfer of Rights and Obligations
You may not transfer contract rights without our consent. We may transfer our rights at any time.
16. Events Outside Our Control
16.1 We are not liable for delays or non-performance due to events beyond our reasonable control.
16.2 Such events include but are not limited to natural disasters, strikes, and government actions.
17. Waiver
A delay in enforcing terms does not waive our rights to enforce them later.
18. Severability
If any clause is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions remain enforceable.
19. Entire Agreement
These terms represent the full agreement between us, overriding prior understandings.
20. Variations
We may revise terms due to changes in laws, market conditions, or policies. The terms in effect at the time of order will apply unless otherwise stated.
21. Governing Law
These terms and related contracts are governed by English law, with disputes under the jurisdiction of English courts.
Discount Codes
Discount codes apply to full-price items only, subject to availability. Misuse may result in declined orders. Lashribons reserves the right to withdraw or amend offers at any time.
